Let's just say we've had a less than optimal experience and felt the need to comment. With the exception of running W2K or XP on a few desktops, our goal is to see if we can replace all of our Microsoft products with Open Source ones (including desktop applications). At the moment, it looks like we might be successful

Women in Technology

There was an interesting thread recently on one of the LinuxChix mailing lists that had to do with IT culture and the acceptance of women in technology fields. I (being the only female at Open Source Rocks! with the exception of three cats and one large dog) tried to follow this thread without responding, but my inborn nature got the best of me and I had to contribute my two cents
